CEO OF THE DAY

Leadership Exposure Equals Leadership Experience.

A one-day intervention that reshapes what emerging leaders can do — and what they believe they deserve. One seat. One day. Everything changes.

100%

WOULD RECOMMEND

A day at a unique chair for International Women's Day.

"CEO of the Day operates on a simple principle: exposure changes belief, and belief changes behavior."

In the space of a single day, participants change how they carry themselves, how they speak, and what they believe they can handle. The shift is visible — not emotional, but grounded in experience.

In two cases, that one day altered career trajectories so significantly that participants became CEOs of their organizations.

PARTICIPANT VOICES

In their own words.

In 2025, alumni surveys were conducted across Benin and Ghana, capturing feedback from participants across multiple company editions. Every respondent would recommend CEO of the Day. These are the moments that stayed with them.

"En prenant place dans le bureau du Directeur Général et en participant au comité des directeurs, j'ai compris que j'en étais capable."

"My colleagues started calling me 'Madame la DG' — it became a symbol of pride. After the experience, I began leading strategic projects for the first time."

"Cela m'a donné une visibilité incroyable et beaucoup de fierté. Diriger toute une équipe m'a donné envie d'aller plus loin."

"I walked in unsure, but I left knowing I could lead. The most valuable part was being trusted to take real decisions."

LEADERSHIP ACCESS IN PRACTICE

Simple by Design
Transformative by Outcome

SELECTION

An emerging leader under 27 is selected from within the organization — someone with potential that hasn’t yet had the context to surface.

PREPARATION

A 2–3 hour pre-day briefing ensures the participant understands the agenda, expectations, and what it means to step into the role.

THE DAY

The participant leads. They chair meetings, review performance, engage stakeholders, and represent the organization.

DEBRIEF

A structured 1-hour post-experience debrief captures insights and documents outcomes for both participant and CEO.

FOUR YEARS OF SCALE

Growing through
peer endorsement

Each year, more CEOs invite their peers to participate — not as a gesture, but because the experience proves its value quickly and visibly. The program has been publicly acknowledged by national stakeholders in Benin as a practical contribution to leadership development.
